THE UTTER DEPRAVITY OF HUMAN NATURE AND NECESSITY FOR REPENTANCE
The utter depravity and sinfulness of human beings through the Fall of Adam, make them to face GOD’s wrath and judgement hence the need for repentance to avoid condemnation to hell fire. Repentance is complete turning around from sinful activities and accepting JESUS CHRIST by faith for the forgiveness of sins. RESTITUTION
Restitution is the act of restoring to the rightful owner, articles or property thathas been stolen or defrauded, making amends where wrong has beenperpetrated, making good or compensating for wrong acts carried out in order tohave the right relationship with GOD and heart devoid of offence towards fellowhuman beings. JUSTIFICATION
Justification is the act of God when He vindicates those that repent of their sins and believe in JESUS CHRIST as their LORD and savior. The atoning blood of JESUS CHRIST washes the sins away and the believer is counted righteous as though he had never sin before. John 3:3-8; Acts 13:38-39; Romans 3:24-30; 4:6-16; 5:1-2; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; 1Peter1:23.
WATER BAPTISM
Water Baptism is mark of total repentance from sin and total surrender to the LORD JESUS CHRIST as LORD and savior. It is by water immersion “In the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost” as Jesus commanded. Mathew28:19; 3:13-17; Mark 16:15; Acts 2:38,39; 19:1-6; Roman 6:4,5.
THE LORD’S SUPPER
The LORD’s Supper was established by JESUS CHRIST so that all believers in Himwill partake thereof regularly in remembrance of Him and His atoning death andresurrection by eating unleavened bread and drinking fruit of the vine as symbols turning away from all sin and deceitful pleasures and turning to Jesus for salivation in faith; converted, truly born again, striving for sanctification and perfection in Christ, working out one’s salvation with fear and trembling.
